The Wild Rover was recorded at Unicorn Sound, Newton County, Arkansas, in 1992. This is Richard's second collection of traditional folk songs with vocals and acoustic instruments. This CD release was remastered from the original analog recordings.

  
 


The Wild Rover was originally recorded using a Tascam 488 Portastudio 8-track recorder. Although there were some limitations in the original recording as compared to current standards, the CD version has been digitally remastered.
